Sonar bump treatment conducted 11/4/19

Our latest lab results showed a drop in the amount of Fluridone in the lake. Our vendor and the manufacturer of the Sonar product, Sea Pro, recommended an immediate boost treatment of 140lbs of the Sonar1 pellets. In accordance with the the project plan, Marine Biochemist representative Brian Suffern braved the cold and conducted a final application (see map and treatment report).

Even though some of the product will be diluted with the winter turnover mix, we want to head into next spring with a small amount of Sonar present to prevent the Eurasian Water Milfoil from rebounding.

Special thanks to Brian for the work and to WDNR Lake Biologist Heidi Bunk for extending our permit to allow the late treatment.
