LDLD BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Lake Denoon Lake District (LDLD) was established in May 2018 under WI Statute Chapter 33 subchapter IV and incorporated in August 2018 as a Wisconsin Chapter 181, non-stock, not for profit corporation with the stated purpose: "To manage and protect the resource known as Lake Denoon principally located in Waukesha County".
The LDLD is governed by a board of five commissioners where:
three are district residents serving 3-year terms;
one is the county representative (as required by state law);
one is the city representative (as required by state law)
LDAA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Lake Denoon Advancement Association (LDAA), established in 1931, spearheaded the formation of the district under the direction of president Gerry Klamrowski. The LDAA has previously been responsible for managing the lake and continues under a refined scope resolution:
"That the Lake Denoon Advancement Association continues in existence as a voluntary organization of persons who wish to join it and who are qualified to belong to it as set forth in the Articles of Incorporation and in the Bylaws of the Association. Its purposes continue to be those as set forth in the Association's Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws and it is intended to serve as a source of ideas and guidance to the Lake District of Lake Denoon regarding the welfare of Lake Denoon."
The LDAA is goverened by a board of 9 directors where:
each director serves a 3-year term.
