Lake District Accomplishments



The Lake Denoon Lake District was established in 2018. Since then, the board of commissioners has actively worked to meet this definition for the benefit of all the members.


  • WDNR TSI (trophic state index) reduced from 52 in 2016 to 50 today

  • Sonar Project

  • ProcellaCOR Project

  • Mechanical Harvesting Program

  • Fishery Program

  • Clean Boats Clean Waters Program

  • Citizen Lake Monitoring Network Program

  • AIS Removal Stations at both launches

  • Investigated history and options for water level control

  • Improved relations with City and WDNR

  • Education, Communication, Socialization Programs

Effective Immediately - Slow No Wake

The present water level on Lake Denoon is 1 foot 3 inches above the spillway. According to the City of Muskego ordinance, the level is 3 inches above the water level used to determine a Slow No Wake
