Fluridone Application Notice

Pursuant to the Sonar project plan, the final booster treatment is scheduled for 6/8/20 and will be conducted by our vendor Marine Biochemists. We are successfully controlling the Eurasian Water Milfoil which was the primary target of this project. We can expect another 2 seasons of control with this booster. The secondary target is Curly Leaf Pondweed (CLP) which has appeared in great abundance this year. We are hopeful that this booster will keep the CLP in check until it naturally dies off in mid summer.

There are no use restrictions with the application of this aquatic herbicide. As required by our permit, a notice will be posted at each of the public launches.
